We are fanatical about our food and how it tastes! This includes ensuring that we have a range of products available for our customers including those that are looking for healthy, but delicious options. Our menu has changed over the years and we now offer slim Prets, no bread sandwiches, more salads, low-fat & light soups, as well as a choice of fruit and healthy breakfast alternatives.
It can be tricky to reduce salt and saturated fat in products without compromising taste but we are committed to meeting the Food Standard Agency's targets. Our efforts to date have seen us reduce salts considerably in our soups and salads and replaced a third of the salt in our seasoning mix. We are working hard to make reductions in saturated fat but we already offer 6 low fat soups, have switched from 10% to 4% fat yoghurt and offer a choice of milk (semi-skimmed, skimmed and soya).
We continuously review our food range, working closely with nutritionists to ensure we understand the pros and cons of all our products. While some of our sandwiches are a little naughty we offer a wide range of alternatives and regularly adjust our menu to keep up to date with current tastes and trends.
