Iced Black Tea Recipe

A refreshing and delicate over-ice tea. A delicious black iced tea blend with optional raspberry black iced tea essence.

Suitable for Vegans



  • 1 cup of fresh raspberries

  • 6 English breakfast teabags

  • 2–3 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 cup ice cubes

  • 1 lime



For the iced black tea blend (makes 6 glasses)

  1. Bring 8 cups of water to simmer, then remove from the heat.

  2. Add the English breakfast teabags.

  3. Let it steep for 3–4 minutes: make it as strong as you like.

  4. Remove the teabags and let it cool off.

  5. Transfer to a pitcher, cover and refrigerate.

For the iced black tea essence (1 serving)

  1. Put the raspberries and 2–3 tbsp of sugar into a pestle and mortar.

  2. Now grind and mix the ingredients.

  3. Strain the juice to make the iced tea essence.

  4. Refrigerate the essence in a small container until cool.

Make it:

  1. Fill a tall glass with ice.

  2. Add the delicious iced tea essence.

  3. Slowly pour in the chilled iced black tea blend.

  4. Add a fresh slice of lime and serve. Frrr-esh.
