Iced Black Tea Recipe
A refreshing and delicate over-ice tea. A delicious black iced tea blend with optional raspberry black iced tea essence.
Suitable for Vegans
1 cup of fresh raspberries
6 English breakfast teabags
2–3 tbsp brown sugar
1 cup ice cubes
For the iced black tea blend (makes 6 glasses)
Bring 8 cups of water to simmer, then remove from the heat.
Add the English breakfast teabags.
Let it steep for 3–4 minutes: make it as strong as you like.
Remove the teabags and let it cool off.
Transfer to a pitcher, cover and refrigerate.
For the iced black tea essence (1 serving)
Put the raspberries and 2–3 tbsp of sugar into a pestle and mortar.
Now grind and mix the ingredients.
Strain the juice to make the iced tea essence.
Refrigerate the essence in a small container until cool.
Fill a tall glass with ice.
Add the delicious iced tea essence.
Slowly pour in the chilled iced black tea blend.
Add a fresh slice of lime and serve. Frrr-esh.
