Pret A Manger Names Felipe Athayde as President, North America

London, 22nd July 2025: Today, Pret A Manger USA have named seasoned food-to-go leader Felipe Athayde as their new President of North America helping to take the business forward on its next stage of forward.

Joining the freshly made food and organic coffee shop, Felipe leads up the Pret North American business with a wealth of hospitality experience. Felipe previously was CEO of Authentic Restaurant Brands (ARB), where he grew the business to over $1bn in sales and $150m EBITDA.

Prior to this he spent almost a decade at Restaurant Brands International, working in a variety of roles including as President of Popeyes Americas, where he spearheaded the launch of the Popeyes Chicken Sandwich widely recognized as one of the most successful product launches in the history of quick-service restaurants. He has also served as President of Burger King Latin America and as President of Tim Hortons USA.
