Pret's Summer Menu: Introducing Dinner For Delivery and The Return of Cult Favourites

  • Pret A Manger’s limited edition Lobster Roll returns to shops next week, alongside the much-loved Jambon Beurre    

  • An evening delivery service will also be trialled, from seven shops and a new hub kitchen, with new and exclusive menu options, including Rice Bowls and Mac & Cheese dishes

  • Three new Salad Bowls also join the Summer Menu, which is in shops and available for delivery from 7 July

02 July 2020: Pret A Manger has announced that the limited-edition Lobster Roll will return to the menu ,alongside its much loved Jambon Beurre and three new Salad Bowls. July 7 will also see the start of a trial for ‘Dinners by Pret’, an evening delivery menu of new and exclusive items.

Summer Menu

Pret’s Lobster Roll was first launched last summer, with its modest price tag proving popular with customers. On Tuesday 7 July, it returns to selected Pret shops across the country for summer 2020.

A welcome addition to any picnic, the Lobster Roll will be made with ethically sourced high- quality North American Maine Lobster, dressed with fresh lemon mayo, crispy romaine lettuce and cucumber, all seasoned with a pinch of chilli.

The Jambon Beurre has long been a cult-Pret favourite and, also makes a return to the menu. The classic French recipe is made using Wiltshire-cured ham, sliced cornichons and a dab of butter.

Brand new to the menu are three Salad Bowls, all offering customers a fresh and delicious option for lunch. The Chipotle Sweet Potato Salad Bowl combines roasted sweet potatoes and spicy chipotle ketchup, which is served on a bed of mixed salad and crunchy slaw, with avocado, charred corn salsa and pickled onions. It is then topped with fresh coriander and served with a pot of ceviche style dressing for a light but filling vegan lunch.

Perfect for lunch in the garden between work calls, the Salmon & Mango Salad Bowl is madeup of roasted salmon with fresh mango, avocado, edamame soya beans, sliced cucumber, and pickled onions, served with a pot of zingy green dressing.

Completing the new menu, the Tamari& Ginger Chicken Salad Bowl sees chicken coated in a tamari and ginger dressing, served with broccoli, soya edamame beans, topped with pickled cabbage and carrot and finished with a pot of green dressing.

All of Pret’s summer menu items will be available in shops for takeaway, eat in or delivery from7 July (in line with government guidance, seating areas will open again with social distancing measures in place from 4 July).

Evening Delivery Menu

For customers looking for fresh, healthier delivery options, Pret will also begin to trial evening delivery from 7 July in seven shops and a new hub kitchen in north west London. The evening menu will feature a range of new and exclusive items, giving customers more filling options for fresh and easy midweek or weekend dinners.

Available from 5pm, a new range of salad bowls includes the Chipotle Chicken Burrito Bowl, the Classic Chicken & Bacon Caesar Bowl, the Salmon & Pickles Rice Bowl and the Falafel & Humous Rice Bowl. The salad bowls will be freshly made in Pret kitchens each evening, for delivery directly to yours, perfect for when you don’t feel like cooking.

On cooler evenings, when something more comforting is what is required, a selection of hot items will be on offer, including Pret’s Lasagne Mac & Cheese, Pret’s Fish Pie Mac & Cheese and a Butternut Squash & Cali Gratin.

All of these main dishes will be available alongside Pret’s usual selection of sweet treats, crisps and cold drinks, Pret’s Heat Me At Home range and Pret’s organic ground coffee and espresso beans.
